A large insect — identified in the guide as possibly a cockroach — was caught between press layers during printing, creating a bug-shaped shadow in the cyan ink layer on unlimited Gastly prints. At least 2 CGC-graded copies are documented, with the second graded copy explicitly confirmed ("Gastly cockroach 2nd CGC copy"). One of the most visually distinctive and frequently discussed errors in all of Base Set.
